Our year-long Football Apprenticeship Program program comprises 15 subjects and gives first year draftees a broad understanding of the professional football landscape. Subjects include Finance, Nutrition, Wellbeing, First Aid, Managing Risk, Media Skills, Public Speaking, IT, Skills and Tactics, Sponsorship, Game Development and a football specific project.
This comprehensive induction program culminates in a TAFE qualification and is run as a traineeship for all first year players.
Run in conjunction with AFL Sportsready, the program is a training organisation that arranges work placements for young people in the sports industry.
