Operating as a separate entity to the Richmond Football Club, the Tigers in Community Foundation is a non profit charitable organisation who prides itself on equity and equality for all that began in 2005/6.

Focusing on inner Melbourne region, all Richmond players, staff and a small number of volunteer members of the Richmond Football Club work on weekly rosters at a number of different locations bringing a smile to some of this city’s most disadvantaged residents.
The Foundation originally spent over 12 months consulting with the local community and council on its needs and areas of concern. Through this process, Tigers in the Community Foundation has developed several pilot programs which aim to strengthen and build our local community.

The priority for the Tigers in the Community Foundation will always be local organizations within the City of Yarra and City of Melbourne precinct. Specifically, their resources and time is committed to five supported organizations that the Richmond staff and players of the club have chosen to be a part of.
